Further History:
After Nei's defeat and rejoining with Dark Schneider's, she begins to help in protecting Metallicana. She and Gara help to fend off Lych long enough that Dark Schneider can resurrect. After realizing DS is alright, and things seem right with the world again, Eddie E shows up. Eddie E is basically death incarnate, the combination of many priest's powers swelled into one evil being. Dark Schneider has trouble in dealing with him, and eventually Eddie E opens a portal to the other world, or Hell. Nei tries to help DS from falling into it, and instead falls into it with him. Thankfully, due to both her sword's guardian, Nue, and DS' sword's guardian, Efreet, the two make it back and DS destroys Eddie E.
While Gara and DS are busy fighting, Nei, having picked up on some comments made by Eddie E about the ring he held (Satan Ring) and Anthrax, notices that something is off and rushes down to where the Ancient Artifacts are. It is here she meets Abigail, and decides it's time to take her revenge on him for DS' death (even if he did come back). Ultimately, Arshes is unable to defeat him as Abigail not only has his own strong power, he also merges with the three artifacts, and apparently has part of Anthrax' powers as his own.
After a battle in which Nei can do barely any damage, she becomes like most of the other characters in the series, merely a spectator to the fight between Abigail and Dark Schneider. Although attempting to help, her magic is of no use against Abigail's present form, and instead she stays to the sidelines, hoping for DS' safety.
In the end, Abigail ends up mutating a time or two, and eventually he grabs Tia Noto Yoko, DS' girl for all intents and purposes. Both DS, and the Rushe (Luche, etc) side of him kick in, and they try to rescue Tia. During the battle, she is dropped, however, down toward a pit of spikes and DS dives with her. Although it is not revealed until much later, DS manages to rescue her, but at the price of his soul being imprisoned for years in Hell.
After the battle, the group heads their separate ways, the ones aware of DS' sacrifice to wait for his revival. Nei relocates herself to an old elven stronghold, which holds much history and considerable power. Here, she spends her time alone. It's been a year since she arrived.
Personality:
Although Arshes Nei can be a very kind woman, it is usually not what shows on the surface. Being half dark-elf and half-human, she spent the first several years of her life being shunned, insulted and generally derided. These memories leave her very angry at much of the world in general, and determined to make a better society. Unfortunately, that time has also caused her to react coldly and abbrasively towards those she does not know, if she bothers to look at them at all.
When she first meets people, her general reaction is one of uncaring and derision. Humans are worthless, powerless beings who live only to die or be controlled by the strong to her. At least, that is what she says and shows, though deep down she is quite aware that humans are not always so. However, because of the outside personality, she will often ignore people, unless they give her some reason not to do so, such as being stronger, or annoying her. The latter will often result in her beating the crap out of them, or using her magic to prove that she is strong, and also that she is not 'just a woman'.
That last is another factor which drives Nei. She has been referred to, multiple times, as only a woman by those who have no concept of strength. It is implied that because she is a woman, she is less than most others, and this, as well as DS' subsequent betrayal upon his awakening after being sealed for fifteen years, causes her to generally disreguard men as even more useless of beings than women. In fact, if she is insulted about being a woman, she will rage and attack you.
Sharp-tongued and quick-witted, Arshes will not stand to listen to people babble on about shit (unless you're DS), and will often just tell them to shut up. She's prickly, and even her friends are known to be insulted. However, once she has accepted you as a friend, the jabs she takes are far less cruel, and far more picking. At those times, she will also begin to worry for people, and will defend her friends with a very high sense of loyalty, even if it may cost her her life.
The only times you really do see her be extremely gentle, however, are when she's near DS or a friend is injured. The best example of this tenderness is when Gara is struck down by Lych during an attack. He blocks Nei's face, supposedly as it's one thing a "beautiful woman can use", and when Lych goes to destroy them, she has him gathered to her arms, ready to take as much of the blow as possible. It is also said by Kai Harn and Sean Ari, two of her subordinates, that Mistress Nei always treated them well, and they both wish DS to save her from living a life of only destruction.
Otherwise, a lot of her brusqueness will always remain. However, to the knowing eye, one will realize through her words and actions, that Arshes is just afraid to be used and thrown-away, discarded and treated as if she is nothing to anyone, and thus she has built a strong wall around herself in order to protect the childish part of herself that still exists and is crying out desparately for love and acceptance.
Powers:
Arshes has a lot of very damaging powers, so I am going to star the ones I would like to keep and the rest can be nerfed or unusable by Mod discretion. All powers allowed to remain will be run by anyone they may be used on.
***Electric - Multiple times in the manga, Arshes gives off electric sparks without sword or spell, leading one to believe she possesses some natural or built up ability to use electricity at will. Can be strong based on her emotions, but mostly will be used for electricity play in RP.
Halloween - A strong spell that acts like a particle accelerator, by drawing energy equivalent to 10 mega electronvolts (4.45 mega-watts almost instantaneously) of power in the center, fired from the user's hand. Best time for casting is on the New Moon, otherwise it can have detrimental effects. Another massively devastating spell if used right.
Deen Tear - A tornado spell with a range of 40 meters. Wind blades are created and can cut through steel, stone and flesh. It remains for a short time after creation.
Tesla - Using all the static electricity from his surroundings and inside his body, the caster shoots off an electric discharge of about 200,000 volts, ripping the enemy apart.
***Def Leppard - A spell that will absorb magic, rendering it useless. It last for about 30 minutes, and is good for those who wish to fight physically against magical opponents.
Exodus - Using ones body as a torch, this spell causes the caster to heat to 20,000 degrees. The spell has been known to evaporate solid rock, and is used sparingly by all wizards, even high-classed ones.
Megadeth - Uses thunderstorms and earthquakes to cause destruction. An entire castle worth of destruction is easy, but the spell can be detrimental to it's caster.
Anthem - Magic arrows. Self explanatory.
***Magic Barrier - Can protect herself, or a group of people against magic
***Flight - Self-explanitory. Using a magic spell, she can fly. She can carry people as well, but it's dependent on her own strength (for example, she had trouble with Gara who is very big)
Sword abilities: Has a Lightning Sword which can cut through mountains. Inside is Nue, the spirit of the sword. The sword can generate lightning on it's own, and when shattered becomes pure lightening itself.
Raging Dragon Slayer Strike - Can use a sword to cause massive damage. The manga shows her cutting a bridge in half, though she seems to be using the Lightning sword for that
***Hand Blade Strike - Her nails and fingers become sharp as a blade and can penetrate the body
The manga implies she is a bit stronger than a human. Also that she is both a warrior of the blade and magic, as is shown in the list above.
Quite capable of taking considerable pain and damage. Excellent eyesight, better than a human's.
